Vendor Agreement

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria
  • You must complete BVN verification before listing devices for sale
  • You must provide a valid Nigerian bank account for payouts
  • CAC business registration is recommended but not required

2. Vendor Responsibilities

  • List only devices that you own or are authorised to sell
  • Provide accurate descriptions, photos, and IMEI for every listing
  • Respond to buyer messages within the platform in a timely manner
  • Complete the pre-shipment checklist for every order before rider pickup
  • Hand over devices to the assigned rider within 4 hours of payment confirmation
  • Maintain zero tolerance for stolen or blacklisted devices

3. Platform Fees

  • Gadgetplace charges a tiered fee based on transaction value — larger transactions carry a lower percentage fee
  • The fee is deducted from your payout automatically; you never need to pay it separately
  • The fee schedule may change with at least 7 days' notice

4. Payouts

  • Payouts are processed within 24–48 hours of buyer confirmation
  • A 48-hour security hold applies to payouts after you change your bank account details
  • Failed payouts are retried automatically or resolved by our support team

5. Strikes and Suspension

A strike may be issued for:

  • Failing to hand over a device to a rider within the dispatch window (seller no-show)
  • Listing misrepresentation
  • A dispute ruled against you

Accumulated strikes may result in account review. Serious violations can lead to immediate suspension. Listing or selling a stolen or blacklisted device results in a permanent ban.

6. Listing Policies

  • All listings are subject to admin review before going live
  • Listings are auto-approved once you have 3 completed sales and zero active strikes
  • Rejected listings will include a reason so you can make corrections and resubmit

7. Related Policies

This agreement works alongside our Terms of Service, Delivery Policy, and Dispute Resolution Policy.
