- The wrong device was delivered
- The device IMEI does not match the listing
- The device condition is significantly worse than described
- The device was not delivered
- Accessories included in the listing are missing
- The security seal was broken on arrival
2. How to Open a Dispute

3. Evidence We Collect
- Vendor pre-shipment photos and checklist

- Your delivery checklist responses
- The original listing description and photos
- Platform messaging history between you and the seller
4. Resolution Process
Gadgetplace reviews all available evidence, typically within 48 hours of a dispute being opened. We may contact either party for clarification. Our decision is based on the evidence gathered through the chain of custody and platform records, and it is final.
5. Possible Outcomes
- Full refund to buyer — the device is returned to the vendor
- Release to vendor — the buyer keeps the device and the vendor is paid
- Partial resolution — decided case-by-case where evidence supports a split outcome
6. Timeframes
- A dispute must be opened within the 2-hour review window after delivery
- If you neither confirm receipt nor open a dispute within this window, the escrow auto-releases to the seller
- Gadgetplace aims to resolve disputes within 48 hours of opening
7. What We Cannot Help With
- Disputes opened after you have already confirmed receipt
- Disputes about items not purchased through Gadgetplace escrow
- Subjective preference disputes, such as simply changing your mind about a purchase
